GoClear (the App) is a privacy-first decision-support tool for UAV operators. We are committed to protecting your data.

Data Collection and Storage
All data is stored locally on your device by default using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
No accounts, logins, or user tracking are required or used.
Your pilot certificate details, insurance information, aircraft registrations, mission data, photos, and generated reports remain under your control.
Optional iCloud Sync via Apple’s CloudKit can be enabled in Settings to sync data across your own devices. This uses your personal iCloud account and is never accessed by us.
We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data, location history, photos, or mission records.
Permissions Used
Location: To display your position on the map, fetch localized weather via WeatherKit, and support airspace evaluation.
Camera: To capture photos of takeoff/landing areas, flight locations, and checklist evidence for your own reports.
Photo Library: To select existing photos for inclusion in your mission documentation.
WeatherKit: For current and forecast weather data. Apple provides this data and it is subject to Apple’s WeatherKit terms.
Data Sharing
You control all sharing of PDFs and data via built-in share sheets to clients, safety personnel, email, or other destinations you choose.
Generated reports may include your manually entered credentials for professional use.
We never receive or access your data.
Your Rights and Control
Delete any or all data at any time via the Reset All Data option in Settings.
Photos and reports are stored in the app’s local Documents folder and can be managed via the Files app.
You can disable iCloud Sync at any time. An app restart is required.
Third-Party Services
GoClear uses Apple frameworks only, including SwiftData, MapKit, WeatherKit, CoreLocation, PhotosUI, PDFKit, and related system frameworks. No analytics, advertising, or external SDKs are used.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted in the app or on our support site. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
